Lincoln Complimentary Maintenance for 3 years/36,000
miles
The first domestic luxury manufacturer to provide standard
complimentary maintenance on every new vehicle, Lincoln continues
the tradition. Lincoln Complimentary Maintenance offers:
- coverage for all routine scheduled maintenance
- for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles
- on all 2003-model-year Lincoln vehicles sold in the U.S.
This commitment is backed by Lincoln and honored
at any one of the more than 1,600 Lincoln dealerships in the
U.S. and Canada. Coverage begins with the original in-service
date (warranty start date) and zero mileage. Maintenance may
be performed any time within 1,000 miles before or after the
scheduled window.
To help ensure your Lincoln vehicle delivers the high level

Roadside Assistance for emergency vehicle services. Simply
call the hotline at 800 521-4140, 24 hours a day, 365 days
a year, for a speedy response. Our network spans the continental
United States, Canada and Mexico.
- Roadside assistance is provided for 4 years after the
original delivery of your vehicle.
Requirements for coverage:
- expenses must be incurred on the registered vehicle
- vehicle must be owned* or leased (12-month lease or longer)
by the member
*Kansas residents are not limited to owned vehicles.
ITEMS COVERED:
- Roadside service, e.g., labor performed at the site of
the disablement, such as changing a flat tire.
- Service call for jump-starting or lock-out service.
- Service call for delivery of gasoline, including the cost
of enough gasoline to get you to the nearest gas station
(usually 2 gallons).
- Towing of your vehicle to the nearest Ford or Lincoln
Mercury dealership, regardless of reason. One tow per disablement.
NOTE: IF YOU ARRANGE FOR YOUR OWN COMMERCIAL ROADSIDE OR TOWING
ASSISTANCE, YOU WILL BE REIMBURSED (UP TO $100 PER DISABLEMENT)
FOR:
- the cost of roadside assistance
- the cost of towing your Lincoln to the nearest Ford or
Lincoln Mercury dealership
ITEMS NOT COVERED:
- Parts, gas, rental of towing equipment, storage fees,
tire repair or any labor performed at a garage or service
facility.
- Parts involved in lock-out service.
- Any form of impound, or towing by someone other than a
licensed service station or garage.
- Assistance from someone other than a licensed service
station or garage employee.
ALL REIMBURSEMENT CLAIMS:
- Should be sent to Lincoln Commitment Headquarters within
20 days of the breakdown.
- Should include:
A completed claim form including your Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN).
An original paid receipt from an identifiable service facility
detailing the nature of the service.
Lincoln new-vehicle limited warranties*
- 4-year/50,000 miles - bumper-to-bumper
- 4-year/50,000 miles - emissions
- 5-year/unlimited miles - corrosion-perforation
In addition to the base limited warranty, the following wear
items will be covered for the first
- 3 years/36,000 miles:
- spark plugs
- shock absorbers
- clutch disc (if equipped)
- engine belts and hoses
- brake pads and linings
- wiper blades

Transportation Assistance Program
Should your vehicle require warranty service, ask your Lincoln
dealer about alternate transportation services. Your dealership
may provide complimentary loaner vehicles and shuttle services-a
time- and cost-saving solution to keep you on the go. Please
schedule a service appointment in advance to ensure availability.

Emergency travel-expense reimbursement
Lincoln provides the assurance you need to enjoy any road
trip, with:
- emergency travel-expense reimbursements for vehicles disabled
more than 100 miles from home* due to a collision (reported
in writing to state or local police) or mechanical failure**
- reimbursement up to $1,000 to cover your emergency expenses
incurred within 3 days of the occurrence (including meals,
lodging, transportation and travel)
*Your residence as shown on our records prior to the disablement.
**Any component covered under the Lincoln bumper-to-bumper
limited warranty.
Reimbursement is provided for 4 years after the original
delivery of vehicle. All claims should be sent to Lincoln
Commitment Headquarters within 20 days of the occurrence.
Destination assistance
Lincoln is determined to get you where you need to go, on
time. In the event of collision or mechanical failure*, Lincoln
provides:
- reimbursement up to $250 for emergency transportation
services
- covering the cost of taxis, rental cars or shuttles
*Any component covered under the Lincoln bumper-to-bumper
limited warranty.
All claims should be sent to Lincoln Commitment headquarters
within 20 days of the occurrence.
Trip-planning service
Lincoln keeps your travel adventures enjoyable and on course.
Helpful trip-planning services provide a wealth of custom-computerized
information including:

- places-of-interest information

Trip-planning service is provided for 4 years after the
original delivery date of the vehicle.

Lincoln commitment owner ID card
Owners will find their ID cards located inside the owner's
manual placed in the glove box. The cards confirm your privileged
customer status. Wallet-sized for easy access, your ID card
conveniently contains the information you'll need for prompt
customer service and roadside assistance.
Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln vehicles
6-years/75,000-miles
Coverage for all Premier Certified Pre-Owned Lincoln vehicles
includes repair or replacement of covered components for six
years from the original Lincoln New Vehicle Limited Warranty
start date or up to 75,000 miles on the odometer -whichever
comes first. This coverage includes parts and labor, but excludes
wear and tear items.
Extended Coverage
In addition to the standard 6-year/75,000-mile warranty, optional
Ford Extended Service Plan Packages are available to customers
seeking extended coverage. Customers may choose from the following:

$100 Deductible
Each Lincoln Premier Certified Pre-Owned vehicle has a standard
deductible of only $100, so should a repair be necessary,
your costs will be minimal. This deductible is reduced to
$50 per visit if you choose to purchase extended coverage.

Included with our Premier Certified Pre-Owned Program is a
complimentary certificate for your first Motorcraft oil and
filter change.
Complimentary maintenance booklet
To assist you with maintenance records of your Certified Pre-Owned
Lincoln, all owners will receive a complimentary maintenance

- Towing assistance up to $100 for warranty and non-warranty
problems, including accidents (excludes impound and repossession)
- Flat-tire changes on-site
- Fuel delivery if the vehicle runs out of fuel - up to
two gallons at no charge
- Jump-starts for dead batteries
- Lockout assistance; up to $50 to unlock vehicle doors
- Service throughout the 50 United States and Canada
Travel Expense Reimbursement
Certified Pre-Owned customers are entitled to an Emergency
Travel Expense Reimbursement up to $500 for up to three days
lodging, meals and a rental vehicle for any travel expenses
incurred should a breakdown occur more than 100 miles from
your home.
Destination Expense Reimbursement
For your convenience, our destination assistance covers any
taxi, shuttle or rental car expense up to $75 for needed emergency
transportation to your immediate destination.
Rental Car Reimbursement
If your vehicle is inoperative and must be kept overnight
for a covered repair (including any recall or Owner Notification
program involving a Premier Certified covered component),
you will be reimbursed up to $35 per day for up to five days.*
*Not available in Hawaii.
