Lexus Extended Warranty
Lexus Extended Warranty This page will help guide you through your search for a Lexus Warranty.
Lexus Extended Warranty Information
The Lexus Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty offers great new car protection to your used vehicle. This coverage is an exclusionary warranty, and mirrors a Lexus new car warranty; with respect to it's covered components. Although Lexus is very strict as to what vehicles will qualify, based on the model year and mileage, for this plan, this coverage will offer you the peace of mind knowing that you have full protection. The term of this plan will last for either 3 years or up to 100,000 total vehicle miles, and it also has a zero deductible. Additional benefits include a loaner car, roadside assistance program, and trip interruption.

Lexus Extended Warranties - Independent Companies
If Lexus offers such a great warranty program, why would I go with anyone else? The first reason you may chose another company is simply because your vehicle does not fit the qualifications for Lexus's guidelines. Even if you car meets these qualifications, you may want an extended car warranty that will last longer than 3 years. Second, many consumers want the freedom to take their Lexus anywhere they chose. Although you may prefer a Lexus dealership, you never know where you vehicle will breakdown, and its nice to know your warranty will be accepted anywhere.

Maintenance Schedule

The Importance Of Scheduled Maintenance

Regular maintenance not only is essential to keeping your Lexus running at its highest level of performance, safety and reliability--it can also enhance your vehicle's resale value. Besides making sure your Lexus drives smoothly for years to come, following these recommendations will also keep your warranty in full coverage.

See your Lexus dealer for complete details on warranty coverage and maintenance schedule or refer to your Lexus Owner's Manual Supplement.

To help ensure your vehicle receives first-rate service and factory-authorized parts, we recommend having routine maintenance performed by service technicians at an authorized Lexus dealership. They keep current on the latest developments in the maintenance and repair of Lexus vehicles, and many are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence as well as through the Lexus Commitment to Perfection Certification Program.

Additionally, when you have your vehicle serviced at a Lexus dealership, your service information is stored in the Lexus National Service History database, the first of its kind in the automotive industry. It can be accessed by any Lexus dealership in the U.S.A. - a major convenience if your Lexus needs servicing while traveling or if you relocate to another part of the country.

A Lexus delivers so much driving satisfaction and luxury, and having it serviced at a Lexus dealership can keep your investment paying off for years to come.

Determining The Proper Maintenance Interval

Your Lexus should receive scheduled maintenance every 5,000 to 7,500 miles (or every 4 to 6 months), depending on your circumstances and driving habits.

5,000-Mile Or 4-Month Intervals

Use 5,000-mile or 4-month intervals if you primarily drive your Lexus under any of the following conditions:
-Driving on unpaved or dusty roads
-Towing a trailer or using a camper or cartop carrier
-Repeated trips of less than five miles in temperatures below freezing

7,500-Mile Or 6-Month Intervals

Use 7,500-mile or 6-month intervals if you primarily drive your Lexus under conditions less strenuous than those listed above.

Corrosion PerforationWarranty

Any mechanic can tell you that rust is one of metal's greatest natural enemies. Which is why Lexus has a warranty that covers repair or replacement of any original body panel that develops perforation from corrosion (rust-through), subject to the exceptions listed in the Basic Warranty page .

And as for the coverage, the Corrosion Perforation Warranty lasts 72 months, regardless of mileage.

Warranty/Roadside Assistance

Each Certified Pre-Owned Lexus is supported by a Lexus-backed 3-year/100,000-total-vehicle-mile limited warranty that begins the day you drive it off the lot--not on its original purchase date.

You will also receive Lexus 24-hour Roadside Assistance at no extra charge, a complimentary loaner car for qualified warrantable repairs, and a complimentary oil and filter change or 5,000-mile service within 90 days from the purchase date.

There are no deductibles, and should you have a breakdown while away from home, you will be provided with meals and lodging for a maximum of 3 nights (up to $200 per night) while repairs are performed on your car, in addition to a rental car for up to 5 days (up to $50 per day). See your Lexus dealer for complete warranty details.
